The FIDS67 (Compensation Fund against Wild Boar Damage in Bas Rhin) decided to equip its fence electrification stations with the TiFiz beacon to protect against frequent thefts.

On May 23, the Voellerdingen station was stolen, then disappeared from the landscape inside a building out of the GPS tracker’s coverage range.
Thanks to its autonomy, the beacon then went into sleep mode, waiting for better days.
... 80 days later, the location reappeared… our thief thinking he was safe, FIDS was able to involve the Gendarmerie to recover its station.
