TICATAG Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy sets out TICATAG's commitments regarding the protection of your Personal Data in your capacity as a customer or Internet user and user of the services. It sets out the terms and conditions for collecting and using your personal data as well as your rights in this regard.

This policy may be subject to change depending on the applicable legal and regulatory context.
Below you will find all of our commitments in terms of confidentiality, security and protection of the personal information that you provide to us. This Privacy Policy aims to provide simple, clear and complete information on the processing of Personal Data concerning you and implemented by TICATAG. Indeed, TICATAG attaches the greatest importance and care to the protection of privacy and personal data.
TICATAG complies with the French Data Protection Act No. 78 of 6 January 1978, as amended, the French Confidence and Digital Economy Act No. 2004 – 575 of 21 June 2004, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”).
Article 1: Definitions
The terms, mentioned below, have, in this Privacy Policy, the following meaning:
DATA CONTROLLER: Means the entity that determines the means and purposes of processing Personal Data.
SUBCONTRACTOR: Means the entity processing Personal Data on behalf of the DATA CONTROLLER, who acts under the authority and on the instructions of the latter.
PERSONAL DATA: Personal Data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, that is to say, who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to them.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA : Any operation or set of operations relating to such data, regardless of the process used, and in particular the collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, reconciliation or interconnection, as well as locking, erasure or destruction, constitutes processing of Personal Data.
COOKIE : A cookie is a small file stored by a server in a user's terminal (computer, phone, etc.) and associated with a web domain (i.e. in most cases, all the pages of the same website). This file is automatically sent back during subsequent contacts with the same domain. Cookies have multiple uses: they can be used to memorize your customer ID with a merchant site, the current contents of your shopping cart, the display language of the web page, an identifier allowing your navigation to be tracked for statistical or advertising purposes, etc.

Article 2: Data controller
TICATAG is the entity that acts as data controller within the meaning of the applicable regulations on personal data and in particular the GDPR. TICATAG is a simplified joint stock company, registered under number 79355652300017 and having its registered office located at 4, rue Louis de Broglie – 22300 Lannion, FRANCE.
Article 3: Data collected
The personal data collected by TICATAG are only the data necessary to achieve the processing purposes described below (Article 4). TICATAG undertakes not to collect more data than necessary. The categories of data collected by TICATAG on the site are as follows:
- Identification data (name, first name, company, email, professional telephone number, etc.)
- Data relating to monitoring of the commercial relationship (requests for information, history of exchanges with services, etc.)
- Connection data and Cookies (IP addresses, connection logs, etc.)
When you provide some of your personal data through the collection forms on our site, the mandatory fields are indicated to you, either literally or by asterisks: you must provide the corresponding information in order to be able to use the service offered or benefit from processing of your request.
Regardless of the method of collection, TICATAG undertakes to inform you of the purposes of the processing, the recipients of the data, the existence and methods of exercising rights.
Article 4: Purposes and legal bases of processing
The purposes for processing your personal data are specified to you at the time of the first collection of this data, most often in a "Protection of personal data" section on the collection medium. This is particularly the case when you make a contact request on the site. Your personal data will not be processed after their collection in a manner incompatible with these purposes or for other purposes without the information relating to these new purposes being provided to you beforehand.

In any event, and for each defined purpose, TICATAG will use all means in its possession to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data entrusted to them, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force.
Article 5: Recipient of the data
Only the authorized and specific persons mentioned below will be able to access the data:
- The authorized internal staff of the IT and marketing division of TICATAG.
- Third parties that may place cookies on your devices when you consent to them (For more details, see our “Cookie Policy”)
Your data is not communicated or exchanged to any person other than those mentioned above. Your data is not sold or rented to any person.
Article 6: Duration of Retention
TICATAG undertakes to ensure that the data collected is kept in a form that allows your identification for a period that does not exceed the period necessary for the purposes for which this data is collected and processed. However, data processing is possible for the proof of a right or a contract. This data may also be kept for the purpose of complying with a legal obligation or kept in files in accordance with applicable regulations and laws:
- The USER's identification data is kept by TICATAG for a period of 1 year from the last contact with the USER.
- For the management of our commercial relationship with you and customer follow-up, your data is kept for 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship if you are a customer.
- For the management of requests for rights regarding your personal data: your data is kept for 1 year.
- For contract management, the data is stored for 20 years from the date of the last data upload.
With regard to cookies, it is specified that the information stored in your terminal or any other element used to identify you for audience statistics purposes is not kept beyond a period of 6 months. Beyond this period, the raw traffic data associated with an identifier is either deleted or anonymized. Finally, in order to ensure the proper functioning and continuous improvement of the site and its functionalities, the raw traffic data associated with an identifier is kept for a period of thirteen (13) months. Article 7: Data security
All processing carried out by TICATAG is secure and confidential. Only authorized persons have access to your personal data: access to processing by the recipient TICATAG services requires authentication of the persons accessing the data, by means of an individual access code and password, sufficiently robust and regularly renewed.
In any event, and for each defined purpose, TICATAG will use all means in its possession to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data entrusted to it, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force. In this respect, TICATAG takes the necessary precautions, in view of the nature of your data and the risks presented by our processing, to preserve the security of the data and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties (physical protection of the premises, user authentication process with personal and secure access via confidential identifiers and passwords, connection logging, etc.)
Article 8: Transfer of data
TICATAG does not transfer data outside the European Union. TICATAG undertakes to inform you in the event of a transfer of your personal data to a recipient located in a country outside the European Union, specifying in particular the data transferred and the purpose of the transfer. Any transfer of this type is carried out subject to appropriate guarantees, in particular contractual, in accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.
Article 9: Exercise of rights
In accordance with the Data Protection Act and the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time by simple request to our data protection officer.
- Right of access (article 15 GDPR) and rectification (article 16 GDPR) of your data
- Right to erasure of your Personal Data (article 17 GDPR),
- Right to limit the processing of your data (article 18 GDPR)
- Right to object to the processing of your data (article 21 GDPR)
- Right to portability of the data you have provided to us (article 20 GDPR)
- Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (article 77 GDPR)
- Right to define the fate of your data after your death and to choose whether or not we communicate your data to a third party that you have previously designated. In the event of death and in the absence of instructions from you, we undertake to destroy your data, unless their retention proves necessary for evidentiary purposes or to meet a legal obligation.
These rights can be exercised by simple request by email to the address dpo@ticatag.com , or by mail to TICATAG, Chez Nokia, 2, rue Louis de Broglie – 22300 Lannion, indicating your contact details (surname, first name, address and a copy of a signed identity document) and a legitimate reason when this is required by law (in particular in the event of opposition to processing). Requests are processed within a maximum of one month.
In the event of communication of a copy of an identity document to prove your identity, we will keep it for one (1) year or three (3) years when this communication is made within the framework of the exercise of a right of opposition.
