The TiSmartCap fuel cap is a solution that provides both protection and control to prevent fuel theft from the tanks of trucks, coaches or construction machinery.
The purpose of this stopper is to be a deterrent to a passing thief who wants to remain discreet. As thefts are increasing, it is especially important to protect parking in rest areas both day and night.
The principle is simple: the control is done by the presence of a sensor located in the cap and a receiver connected to the truck. The system detects each opening of the cap, whether for a fill-up or for theft.
In the event of an attempted theft, the receiver will trigger an audible alarm with a 98 DB siren. The driver can be informed of an attempted theft and intervene. The information will also be transmitted to the manager by a time-stamped and geolocated message. He will thus be able to alert an intervention team if the driver is not on site to intervene.
Thanks to its connectivity to the 4G network, the cork receiver provides a tracking solution, with international coverage and Quality of Service in mobility to recover more positions.
