The TiSmartCap fuel tank cap is both a protection and control solution designed to prevent fuel theft from the tanks of trucks, coaches, or construction machinery.

The purpose of this cap is to be deterrent by its shape to a passing thief who wants to remain discreet. As thefts are increasingly frequent, it is especially important to protect parking areas at rest stops both day and night.

The principle is simple: control is done through a sensor located in the cap and a receiver connected to the truck. The system detects every opening of the cap, whether for refueling or theft.
In case of a theft attempt, the receiver will trigger a sound alarm via a 98 DB siren. The driver can be informed of a theft attempt and intervene. The information will also be transmitted to the manager by a timestamped and geolocated message. They can then alert an intervention team if the driver is not on site to intervene.

Thanks to its connectivity to the 4G network, the cap’s receiver offers a tracking solution with international coverage and Quality of Service in mobility to provide more position updates.
