BEACON is a wireless motion detector.
It is a small sensor equipped with an accelerometer to detect the movement of an object.
Thanks to its low energy consumption and the use of the Sigfox network, BEACON is capable of sending up to 10,000 messages without being recharged.
Beacon also provides a very cheap geolocation solution, using the location service via the network (Sigfox ATLAS service). The accuracy is of the order of 500 m depending on the coverage.
